Transforming strategic objectives into performance indicators of individual activities and processes is basically impossible nowadays. As far as organization performance is concerned it is more efficient from strategic perspective to monitor and manage this performance not only via so called delayed performance indicators (Financial indicators, indicators from a customer's portfolio) but also to focus mainly on so-called pre-action performance indicators (Internal processes, potential), which show performance of an organization towards the future. Via this method any organization is able to assess the state of strategic objectives fulfillment and to propose measures for the as-is state improvement in the case of unfavorable progress. |
